sch has been less boring and more entertaining than i expected.

maybe cos i self entertain. or am entertained pretty easily. besides the lectures (which are wth really DAMN boring), and GP tutorials (need i say more?), the rest are ok.

anw today was quite a retarded day. went oteam meeting in the morning to listen to some pep talks. then stoned at canteen with darren foong who was swearing left right center while i was doing my work. then he finally calmed down and did some work. then he kept his work and continued swearing. so much for being role models. HAHA.

then i thought of sth to say which will really cool the temperature down since its such a hot day. then i told tew during break.

me: "eh, viet got an isomer."
tew: "really? what?"
me: "CIS minh viet"

then tew started laughing quite hard and i was pretty impressed with myself. then tew started telling everyone else then i got even more impressed with myself. then suddenly i heard the unmistakenable trademake laughter which can only belong to weiting, who was drinking packet green tea without a straw. for a moment i thought she choked pls -.-

played bball after sch. weird things happen. like someone crashing ur game and acting retarded.

wah i'm totally shagged from standing around the whole day and talking to random ppl trying to convince them how great our club is. why? cos today was open house! and for the first time in recent memory we're having actual sign-ups for ppl coming to open house because rjc rijc rjc decided we're too i********* that we dont need to i****** ppl to come to our sch. so we're just having a helluva of an open house for ppl to tour the sch one day before their sch starts.

ok watever. didnt really like that concept from the start. and some of the things i've heard ppl say doesnt sound really pleasant either. add to the fact that the school openly discriminates external CCAs and well, i dont really have a good impression of certain councillors now. i'm not going to brand everyone. neither am i going to name names. neither am i going to complain too much. trust me, i know our limitations. but i was just wondering where all the respect went.

anw i almost erupted in the morning. not cos of where the booth was located. but cos someone was trying very hard to piss me off. i tink i swore so loudly ppl in the booths beside us started staring. but nvm, at least i achieved my objective. some things just have to be said so ppl will wake up their idea. and its not as though i was picking a quarrel anw.

the rest of the day went smoother i guess. like strategising where to put posters up. going around slacking off. trying to psycho big groups of ppl. meeting random juniors. taking cock and trying not to make crys puke at the same time. oh and going to the stage and trying very hard to get words out of my mouth to make an announcement. i tink alaric is damn hilarious. haha.

sign ups were ok i guess. lesser than i expected. but we'll make do. quite looking forward to interviewing ppl. heh. maybe interviewing J2 intake like huiwen and alaric (?) will be more interesting LOL. but ok i duno how many J2 sign ups were like, serious. ><

zzz i'm tired and my knees hurt cos didnt really get to sit much all day. sometimes i wonder why i'm so hiong. not like i got anything to prove.

and i need stop being so vulgar. starting from like. now.

the past 2 days have been spent starting on work.

my hols has been a rousing success. cos i managed to play every single game i would want to play during the new year and get bored of every single one of them. the list includes: pokemon diamond on no$gba, fifa 09, PES 09, FM 2009, red alert 3, random frozen throne games, diablo 2.

which means i can focus on work! haha.

orientation dry run 2 has been damn exhausting. totally zonked out at the end of all 3 days. but very fun! heard alot of damn funny stories like really can laugh until u get diarrhoea (pun intended, but inside joke LMAO). haha. looking forward to orientation! co-ogls sabina and isabelle are fun people woot but i got same OG number as i did last year. lolol.

then i hope i can say bye to backaches soon. got new bed! its like go mattress shopping just go in and ask for the hardest mattress they have. LOL.

2 more days to sch. hope i can finish the most impt work by then! jiayou everyone!

happy new year everyone! thanks to all who wished me through sms, and sorry if i didnt reply cos i was too caught up with other stuff but really appreciate them!

so Boon Lay countdown is finally over, and its been a hell of a roller coaster ride over the past 5 months or so. from all the hesitation and inexperience at the start to the assertion i started to set nearing the event, taking charge of wat i had to and culminating in a mini shouting match with one of the ppl from the event management over stuff i was really unhappy about. ok its all in the heat of the moment so everyone really had no hard feelings. after all, we managed to pull it off!

it's really been an experience of a lifetime organising such a big scale event, and i must say the GROs are really really smart, for reasons not convenient to be revealed here. but nonetheless, behind all the glamour and hype surrounding these events are really things that ppl dont see, like u only watch the stage performances, but dont really know wat's going on backstage. the stress you go through and the spontaniety u need to have cant really be described, u have to go through it urself and trust me, u dont wanna go through it.

basically decisions have to be made, and u really have to make them on the spot. some decisions u dont like, but they have to be made anyway. if there are clashing opinions, a compromise has to be made. though i guess if u really feel strongly about sth, u have to stand ur ground on it. most of the time, a compromise that is satisfactory for both parties will be made. that was really the whole theme of working backstage ytd.

so ytd was really tough. i basically survived on adrenaline the whole day, starting to lose my voice just 3 hours into the start of the day. the situation was quite luan4 i guess but we managed to work out everything anyway, which is wat really matters at the end of the day. had one ramly burger (which wasn't very nice) for lunch and nothing for dinner. no appetite. >< got sunburnt spending 4++ hours out in the open making sure performers' rehearsals go smoothly. choosing stage helpers like damn last min to last me through the night. then really trying to make sure the whole prog went smoothly while managing backstage. was really relieved after countdown, during fireworks, cos yes, we managed to do it.

anw there are so many ppl i wanna thank. family for being understanding/patient with me while i pissed myself off over doing shit work and basically had alot of times when i had to leave house at inconvenient times. the 2 erics and james and the rest of the adults for their guidance and the many many contacts provided. the rest of the exco for their support. (esp. yvonne for barricades and food and crys for not killing me with how i dealt with volunteers). my stage helpers (zhihao, hakim, hakim's fren, woosheng, cheryl ang, pingfang, chee for helping me get more and all the other random ppl) who really gave me a peace of mind while i was trying not to break down/blow up backstage.

and most imptly my co-prog comm i/cs jiahui and valencia for their immense help with the rest of the prog matters or else i would have died under the stress. seriously without u guys there wouldnt even be an event. thanks alot!!

but of cos there are perks that come with my position. haha! managed to take photo with mi2 lu4 bing1 (their live performance is OWN), mark lee (omg he was damn funny) and apple hong (very friendly!). it was quite amusing when hady mirza practically got MOBBED by students when he came out. like omg man.

ok so to put things in a nutshell, muquan is very grateful. this post is really wat i wanna say to the ppl. just a big fat THANK YOU. ok end of story. moving barricades tmr hahaha.
