teachers day eve 2007
teachers day eve today. celebs was not bad. quite entertaining ba. and sitting in the gallery means u get to do alot more things LOL.
went back nyps after celebs. thot might as well go since it could very well be a damn long time until i visit that sch again. sad to say found it a total waste of time. me and yijun reached at like 11.15 liddat (julian and chue hsien went earlier) apparently supposed to wait for the rg girls. and see ms yee. in the end we nvr got to see ms yee. tink she left early or sth. in the meantime saw some former classmates who completely dao-ed us though that was expected. shot some hoops, played some chess, and stoned.
then the girls came. ok we had been waiting for quite long. getting restless. then when they came like totally dao also. which was totally uncalled for. the rest of the guys were quited peeved i guess. we were like approaching stone walls when we tried to talk to them, which made things even more awkward. i was more disappointed than peeved ba, since i totally didnt expect this to happen(though yijun was saying otherwise). well i was under the impression that we were gonna go out together or sth anw. okay so i was wrong.
ok then the ny girls came. and rg and ny got damn excited started talking amongst themselves and we became invisible. ok cant blame them our p6 class had 28 girls and 12 boys we're outnumbered by more than 2 to 1 and were outnumbered by more than 4 to 1 on this occasion. and (surprise surprise) the ny girls came and said hi to us.
i rmbr like 2 years ago it was the ny girls who were being anti-social. looks like rg and ny reversed roles this time. though i tink its a diff grp of ny girls this time. but sometimes i wonder whether its a lack of effort on our part. though i feel we really cant be blamed this time. yijun was still saying girls are damn extreme. either very anti-social or talk non-stop. lol.
and my class is well... i duno. split into factions? always act as strangers like that and we can never have a full gathering. be it between boys and girls, boys and boys, and girls and girls. like all havent grow up liddat. siao. its sad la. i thought this was cos we were all in single-sex schs. but yijun rightly pointed out that other classes also alot in single-sex sch, and they get along SUPER well. i see them very close. maybe its just... us? or maybe i shldnt talk so much, since i feel i'm quite anti-social as well. not good with words and expressing myself and stuff. many times i just like to keep my mouth shut unless i'm around ppl i know damn well and can relate to very well.
ok so i managed to recognize most of the ppl besides vanda, whom i tink COMPLETELY CHANGED APPEARANCE or sth. i was like: "this girl from our class meh?!" LOL! sorry!
after exploring the sch abit we decided to go cine watch ratatouille. me and yijun decided to wait for andre who was coming from scgs, while the rest went off earlier(again). but julian will regret it cos we saw SOMEONE at the bus-stop while waiting! lol! ok kena dao-ed again. at least she acknowledged our presence. haha. and no other hwachong guys turned up...
ratatouille was good. u can really learn quite alot from the movie. go watch! after movies went seperate ways. sadly didnt manage to interact much with the rest. lol. cos didnt eat lunch with them. plus my character. LOL. aiya so screwy =/
me yijun julian chue hsien and andre walked around the place. they wanted play pool. walked from cine to cuppage found no place then walked all the way to dhoby ghaut paradiz. in the end too late le i didnt want to play liao so lent shirt to julian who had forgotten to bring and went home. haha.
anyways going for liuchen's farewell lunch tmr. sth to look forward to. =)

almost done with chem PT. its a bloody stupid PT i dont get why they want us to do sth where the answers can be found online. in fact its all over the net. even the teacher said must "paraphrase". so is that wat they're grading us?
today was quite a pointless day ba. only had effectively half a lesson. first period chem went thru test paper. english was listening oral defense. then emergency exercise halfway through english. the sch really sucks made us sit under the bloody sun for half an hour doing duno wat. guai lan duno why so slow also. in the end eat into bio. had half a period finishing up syllabus. SS was free period which we used to design teachers day cards. it was bloody hilarious. then CLE = free period.
sian la i feel like sleeping late tonight. =/ tmr half day... shld be going back ny ba. hope to see some ppl there. haha.

ok i shall not go into how we failed to book AVT and ended up sitting in a circle in MY class(sorry guys ur have to rearrange desks tmr. lol!). lucky we were on chairs. basically DC was here to "collect feedback". so some of us(including me. not surprising) gave NCC a not-so-good appraisal. and he found out only 2 out of 20+ ppl from our part were going for CLT course despite ALL OF US being eligible for it. jokes.
i tink he was chao amused by our unit. cos no one answers when he asks questions. when we give answers its those he doesnt expect. well he wants our "honest opinion" and thats wat we gave him. haha. and maybe its just me but i tink he had on this uneasy laughter throughout the session. like very un-nerved by us. LOL!
ok so i have one test left tmr. physics. which i have finished studying over 3 days. or to put it more accurately given up on. physics is the single most screwed up subject to be taken ever since the start of last year. most of the teachers in the dept cant teach, and neither can the relief teachers. and i have duno how many exercises no gone through, and we rushed 2 topics in 2 periods last week. totally gg.
wat can we do? pray hard. wait for year to end. then drop physics in JC. yay.

anyways tmr marks the end of week 9 and after tmr we only have 2 MORE DAYS OF LESSONS LEFT AFTER TMR. next monday no sch (staff training though i dont see how it helps the teachers and us), tuesday HMT prelims, friday teachers day celebs. SHIOK.
but wed and thur got tests. dots. but ya i am SO LOOKING FORWARD to the end of this term. woots!

slack and uneventful day. though deputy headmistress suddenly walked into class this morning. (she thought no teacher in class when alvin tan was doing dialogue in project room LMAO).
wanted to see if we had anything to say. obviously no one said anything. we talk alot of shit but never say it out when given the chance.
we finally got our progress report. my grades are fine i guess. i dont have crazily high expectations of myself even though i dont expect myself to go out and flunk everything at this stage either. but (surprise surprise) i got 85 for PE. must be soccer module. LOL bloody hardcore. philo scrape A also sia.
skipped trials for inter house soccer after sch. firstly i didnt being PE. secondly i wasnt wearing street shoes. thirdly i'm in an extremely bad physical state plus i have a bloody bad astroburn(which jeff said looked like luncheon meat) which i got on hardcourt not astroturf. which makes it all the worse.
barring the above 3 circumstances i wouldnt have gotten into the team anw. but would probably have just gone and played for fun la if i were fit.

thought i would just go sch and dao everyone today. ap everyone and be a bastard. seems to happen everytime i suffer from post-titong activity withdrawal symptoms. luckily it didnt happen today.
but my whole body is bloody aching all over now i was limping all over sch. vincent quek thought i was slacking during PE when i actually REALLY AM IN NO STATE TO CLIMB A BLOODY ROCK WALL. without harness some more >< maybe he wants me to fall down and fracture a bone.. in such a poor state i decided to just skip training and go home to get much needed rest.
law jiahao was being a pantat during maths lesson today. suddenly asked me some damn random question, drew some EXTREMELY SICK BUT HILARIOUS THINGS(you wont want to noe wat) and got me into a laughing fit. like totally siao! laugh so hard until stomach damn pain and i tink i was nearing tearing alr. then when ms cho came over and asked: "wats the matter?" we just shook our hands and heads and continued laughing. i tink she was damn amused LOL.
for the first time in a long while i'm feeling quite free. nth urgent to complete. totally love this feeling.

so today after sch had career forum. we chose prospective careers we were interested in to go learn more about them. the real professionals came down to give us talks.
i went for the journalist, tv show producer and investment banker ones. journalist and tv show producer ones not bad. the guys who talked to us made it damn interesting. haha. especially Shantokh Singh(news editor from The New Paper), telling us about his experiences.
but investment banking was bloody stupid and boring and a total waste of my bloody time. the guy was beating about the bush the whole time and like didnt tell us anything useful. bloody hell. overshot the time some more. tsk.

went baoguan after sch today. finish up huixun. and wrap prizes, and settle other stuff.
forgot to bring pass so stoned with mincong who forgot to bring also at braddell mac. went baoguan when xuchang came and ppl were having meeting in xiao room. so we went canteen slack then go back and stone.
for 4 hours. LOLL finsih huixun print fold wrap prizes. reached home damn late. lucky no work.
and wth ppl chase us out of OUR ROOM. OUR XIAO ROOM. ok u say use we let u use. but u say use "for a while" then use "for a while la". if u gonna take a long time then just tell us dont use "for a while" then take ur time. we noe ur time very precious but ours is too.

been 3 days since i last blogged. this 3 days have been murderous.
monday bio test which i completely screwed up despite preparing for 2 days. went back home complete zuowen and lijie. until 1.
tuesday got home chiong maths. prepare for oral defense and RE oral presentation. slept at 12.30.
today. NEVER GOT TO DO ORAL DEFENSE COS NO TIME WAT A WASTE OF MY TIME. then i screwed up maths even more badly which is a bloody waste of my effort in preparing. wtf. oral presentation was ok. though we were being bombarded with questions for more than 10 mins it was like standing in a firing line.
chem tmr. at least i hope i can do decently for it. can understand majority of the stuff. for like the first time in a long while.
the sch is seriously screwed up. they really need to look at their schedules and make sure everything doesnt clash and come together or else some teachers wont be happy we dont hand in work. but hey we got priorities u noe. so sorry if ur subject is way down an extremely long list of our priorities.

so i just dedicated the whole bloody day to the social documentary.
one whole day which could have been spent doing other things. argh its times like this u wish u dont do last minute work.
so we split up me hsiu hsiu and yijun went to take videos of "top schools" while kevin quah law jiahao and charles(who is back after 1+ week in north america that pantat) stayed in ri/rjc to film their part.
dumbass we traveled around to film 15mins worth of "top schools". knn went bukit timah film hci and nygh further up bukit timah film scgs went orchard film rgs, and we werent allowed to enter any of the schs cos today sch holiday wat the hell).
travelled back to rjc to find that they had not done a single shit cos it was god damn hard to film things. urgh. ok at least we managed to get some shit done. in the end left sch at 7.30pm. totally guai lan.
yea and sth damn funny happened when we were at ny there. we were walking out of the sch gate after being asked ever so kindly by the security guard to leave. then we saw familiar faces. chew guan yu. lmao. he and a grp of friends having a gathering.

came to one page show all the kits of the clubs for this coming season. then WHOA. i realised aston villa and fulham will be sporting nike kits next season. then derby will be donning adidas.

firstly i apologise for the things that were said(like apologizing would make any difference, but screw it) on behalf of those who said it. if they havent apologized alr. well i tink they havent. ur right, its too much.
but frankly some of the things u said in ur post are really quite, let me use the word: wrong.

thats the end of a bloody hectic week. slept after midnight everyday for 5 consecutive days. set a record or sth. bloody tired.
ran cross-country today. this year held at bedok reservoir park. stupid its not even cross country it shld be called 4.3 km run. they said the terrain is QUITE flat. well the terrain is TOTALLY flat only got alot of bloody pebbles which made it harder to run.
had stitch yet again. this is the 3rd time in a row i kena stitch running long distances. guai lan. ended up walking parts of it. managed to finish the run just under 25 min(cut-off time for points, which is 2 points for house which is totally useless). ran past finish line then they said 25 min up. must be lucky or sth.
and red bull is totally useless. or maybe i was too tired. still felt sleepy after drinking it. pantat.

oh well i'm currently balancing on a tight rope dividing my time between RE and SS. for the first time this year i feel driven and pushed on to complete work. cant wait for this term to end. cos it'll signal the start of the end of secondary school life. after this term, all we have to worry about is EOYs.
